So charming! You are getting there though, even sleepy! k.
K,
I’m trying. Lots of gremlins in my life this right now. Still quite happy to be where I am. 😀
My dear 15 year old Chessie (cat) who went to sleep October 13, used to sit in the middle of the street chattering to the mockingbirds on the wires above. I was amazed that he was never hit. But mockingbirds are amazing songsters. They have such a repertoire.

Lady Nyo,
I agree. Most mornings I love to hear them. Their cheerfulness was a bit much on that sleep-deprived dawn.
Ah…one summer a mockingbird would sing all night long when there was a full moon…amazing how such songs lose there charm with the lack of sleep. :-0
slpmartin,
They were a little charming, but I was too tired to appreciate them. I’ve always been amazed at how long their song sets can run. Happy to have you here.
very nice sound, image, and thought
Hi Marty,
When I walked out this morning, bleary eyed, that cheerful bird just warbled on. Thanks for reading and commenting.
