      Rick,
Welcome back. Just a warning. I will visit but less often. Classes start soon (both to teach and to take). Very excited peppered with a bit of fear. Enjoy your island life for me.

      • ha. i seem to still be spinning in multiple directions. i’ll settle down a bit at some point i suspect. no worries about visits, i know you come often and when ever possible is great by me. you know i do not make it around nearly as much.

way cool on classes—both taking and teaching. it’s very understandable that these take precedence. life is where we are. you will do fine. just let yourself know that this is what it’s like to be doing this. and go on from there. i know you will be giving your all. way cool on that for your students and your teachers.

island life. okay, i will sit for a few moments and offer you this view of the sky between avocado leaves. the tree is loaded with big avocado this year. so many i do not try to count them. and they are yum. i will eat the next one as if it is especially delicious to a poetic rabbit. fun. aloha.

          Rick,
No imaginations necessary–this poetic rabbit adores avocado. One of my current classmates is hoping to teach in Hawaii someday.

          • an avocado fell today. it’s not ready to eat yet. a few more days. teaching here is a different world. there are so many cultures. it can be wide open and fun and a challenge as well. people either really like it here or they really dont like it. for me, i like it a lot. so i hope your friend does too. fun. aloha.

            • Yousei Hime says:

Rick, I may have to get my own avocado when I go to the store today. 😉 I will let my classmate know of your observations. If you have anything else to share about teaching/living in Hawaii, send me an email.

If you leave tracks, I'll find you.
