  1. lovely moments…waiting for new thoughts… like that!

  2. Luke Prater says:

new moon thoughts… of an apple.. perhaps? The vagueness of who/what is having ‘new moon thoughts’ makes this very interesting. The contrast between ripe apples and a new moon also fabulous. I’d love to see how you line-break this if you ever did. It would be fascinating to see where you made the breaks. (and punctuation if any)

    apples ripe
    wait to fall ~
    new moon thoughts

    apples ripe wait
    to fall new moon thoughts

    apples ripe
    wait to fall.
    new moon thoughts

I believe that is what makes haiku more flexible, this ability to maintain flow even when cut to pieces, parts or whole. Kind of like cake, good (or bad) no matter how you slice it. 😉 Thanks for trying out different breaks. It’s great to see the different possible meanings that form with each. Some are so subtle. I appreciate your sharing and visiting.

very cool….the seasons pass, the fruit of one falls in another…and the moon keeps traversing the stars…

Lovely Yousei … thank you for your visits, they have been important to me. As I know that you know, I have not been around.
