Pieces of the Past

Caged Bird

this book has no lines
poverty of spirit
shaped like calligraphy
my secret life
in heavy, still air
stabbing him flashes through my mind
lightning reflects my face on rain-streaked panes
dark on light, veined film
failure is a choice
store tomorrow
change the water
perhaps a garden
I can remove my wedding ring with ease
irresistible motivation
I am determined

Sandy, I’m glad you could follow it. The prompt is one I’d been wanting to try, and the theme that emerged grew from recent snarls and tangles. I’m really glad you came by. I so enjoy my visits to your blog.
