Sunshine Award

Today I was awarded the Sunshine award by my new blog friend William.  This kindness arrived on a much-needed day.  William says this about himself:

Born and raised in Edinburgh the Capital City of Scotland, I began writing at an early age, based on everything around me, people, places, almost everything possible someone can write about I have written . . . you are always welcome [at William’s Poetry Blog].

We met through poetry and friended through appreciation and humor.  True to his bio, William writes about anything, especially the lovely countryside where he lives.  He shares photos, poetry, challenges and encouragement.  Thank you, William.

William is not my only blog friend who brings me smiles and light, so I am happy to pass this award on to 12 of my friends who deserve some SUNSHINE in their lives.

Here are the rules:

  1. Put the logo on your blog or within your post.
  2. Pass the award on to 12 bloggers (no deadline).
  3. Link the nominees within your post.
  4. Let the nominees know they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
  5. Share the love and link to the person from whom you received this award.

My nominees for a bit more sunshine and warmth to their day are:

      B.B.,
You are very welcome. I was just showing your blog to a friend of mine who home-schools. She’s a our preacher’s wife, they have 5 children and are very, very busy. She’s still thinking about blogging. lol. She liked yours. I like yours–makes me smile, think, and laugh. All good things.

      • Yousei, is your friend interested in art? You should send her here:

        Freebieoftheday! Famous Impressionist Artists

The lady there has some very cool impressionist lapbook resources free today (not sure what the time zones do there, but I think it’s still your today, lol!)

Preacher’s wife…homeschooling five… still thinking about blogging? Crazy girl 😀

But if she starts, send me a link and I’ll go say hello 🙂

          B.B.,
Thanks for the headsup. I’m not sure how soon she will get going on this. She is also an outdoorswoman–hunting and fishing and stuff. I don’t see how she does all of that either. I’ll let her know about it. BTW, she loved your girls’ picture.

  7. OIC! … see, I’m getting the sunshine already and it’s after midnight! lol ! I guess that this blog can’t really be one of my pics… but it really sort of is you know.

I will have to go find some blogs that are not on your oddly counted list of 12. HAHA

This came at a really good time, like has been said. Me, too!!! So thanks a bushel and a peck! I am not entirely sure what that means, but my mother used to say it. 🙂

  8. Susan says:

    Hi Yousei;

Why shiver me timbers, this is a surprise is it not?

I love the sunshine. To make an award and so freely pass it out brings out the smile in me 🙂

My thanks to William the poet for passing it on to you, and to you for thinking so kindly of us.

Yousei, you are a ray of sunshine in your own right and to our delight 🙂 Kind of rhymes doesn’t it?

I will be posting this picture on my blog this weekend and thank you.
